0445010136 is supplied as a remanufactured replacement fuel injection pump. Cross-reference numbers: 0445010136, 16700MA700. Application recorded for this part: DFM DFSK ZD30. The injection pump is what generates injection pressure and meters fuel to each cylinder in firing order. Because it also provides the timing reference, its condition affects starting, smoke, power and fuel consumption together — a pump that is worn rarely produces a single isolated symptom. Symptoms associated with pump wear include hard starting when hot, loss of power, unstable idle, excess smoke, timing that will not hold, and in some cases diesel getting into the lubricating oil via a leaking drive shaft seal. Before condemning the pump, rule out the cheap causes: supply restrictions, a weak lift pump, air ingress on the suction side and a blocked filter. Check supply pressure and condition at the pump inlet first, then look at delivery and timing. Fitment notes: this unit must be timed to the engine, not simply bolted on. Never force the shaft to align — turn the engine over to meet it. Prime the system before cranking, fit a new drive seal where specified, and verify supply pressure from the lift pump before start-up. Running a dry pump, even briefly, causes damage that no warranty will cover. Our rebuild standard: strip to components, clean, measure against wear limits, replace what is worn, machine back to specification where required, then calibrate and bench-test every unit. Delivery, return flow, opening pressure and leakage are recorded, and units outside specification are not dispatched. Test sheets available on request, and every unit carries a 12-month warranty.
