22100-1C200 is supplied as a remanufactured replacement fuel injection pump. Cross-reference numbers: 22100-1C200, HZJ79. Application recorded for this part: Fits Toyota — 1HZ. The injection pump is what generates injection pressure and meters fuel to each cylinder in firing order. Because it also provides the timing reference, its condition affects starting, smoke, power and fuel consumption together — a pump that is worn rarely produces a single isolated symptom. Typical indicators are progressively harder starting, particularly when hot, reduced power, smoke under load, erratic idle, and fuel dilution in the sump — the last one should always be investigated immediately. Diagnose the supply side before blaming the pump. Restricted filters, a tired lift pump or air being drawn into the suction line will produce symptoms almost identical to internal pump wear, and are far cheaper to resolve. Installation notes: never rotate the pump by force to align it — bar the engine over instead. Prime before cranking, renew the drive seal, confirm supply pressure, and bleed the system properly. Dry running for even a few seconds is the most common cause of premature failure on an otherwise sound pump. Rebuild process: full teardown and measurement first, then replacement of all wear components, machining back to specification where required, followed by calibration and bench testing. The difference between this and a cleaned used part is the measurement and test record — we hold every unit to the specification for the part number, not just to 'it runs'. Test sheets available on request, and every unit ships with a 12-month warranty.
