TD226B is supplied as a remanufactured replacement fuel injection part. Cross-reference numbers: TD226B, 13053063, WP6G125E21, B6AD548G-R, BH6PN120R. An injector is a high-speed valve. It has to hold back rail pressure, then open and close within a fraction of a crankshaft degree — several times per cycle on pilot-injection engines. Anything that alters opening behaviour, whether it is carbon on the tip, a worn needle or a tired solenoid, changes how the cylinder burns its charge. Symptoms that point to injector wear include hard starting when hot, rough idle, white smoke at start-up or black smoke under load, a sharp knocking from one cylinder, increased fuel consumption and a gradual loss of power. It costs little to confirm the diagnosis first. Compare return flow between cylinders and cut each injector in turn on a scan tool; if one cylinder makes no difference to running quality, that is your culprit. Before fitting: clean the seat thoroughly, use new copper washers and seals, and torque the clamp to the engine manufacturer’s figure. Replace as a set where possible, and check whether the ECU needs the new units’ classification codes written in afterwards. What we do differently: every core is stripped to components, inspected against wear limits and measured before anything is reused. Worn parts are replaced, not cleaned and refitted. After reassembly the unit is bench-tested — delivery, return flow, opening pressure and leakage — and only units inside specification are dispatched. We can send the test sheet for your order before it leaves. Every remanufactured unit carries a 12-month warranty.
