About this part

33100-4X700 is supplied as a remanufactured replacement fuel injection part. Cross-reference numbers: 33100-4X700, 9044Z072A, 9044A072A, 9044A022A, 9044A071A. Fuel is delivered to this injector already pressurised by the rail. What it contributes is timing and atomisation — opening and closing within milliseconds, several times per combustion event on modern engines. Small changes in spray pattern or opening behaviour show up quickly as noise, smoke and rising consumption. Symptoms that point to injector wear include hard starting when hot, rough idle, white smoke at start-up or black smoke under load, a sharp knocking from one cylinder, increased fuel consumption and a gradual loss of power. Because those symptoms also point to compression, turbocharger or air-side problems, it is worth confirming before ordering. A return-flow (back-leakage) test across all injectors and a cylinder cut-out test will usually identify both whether the fault is injector-related and which cylinder is responsible. Fitment notes: injectors on the same engine wear together. Replacing only the failed unit often leaves the others close behind, and a single new injector reading differently from its neighbours will cause exactly the rough running you were trying to fix. Replacing as a matched set avoids that. Always fit new copper sealing washers and seals — used washers rarely seal a second time — and where the system requires injector classification or IQA codes, have them programmed to the ECU after fitting. How we build it: the unit is fully disassembled, cleaned and measured, not simply resealed. Wear items — seals, springs, and where clearance is out of specification the plunger and barrel or nozzle assemblies — are replaced rather than reused. Sealing faces and bores are re-machined back to original clearances, then the unit is calibrated and run on a bench with delivery, return flow, opening pressure and leakage recorded. Anything outside specification does not ship. Test sheets for your specific units are available on request. Covered by a 12-month warranty.
