294050-0152 is supplied as a remanufactured replacement fuel injection pump. Cross-reference numbers: 294050-0152, 22100-E0101, 22100-E0102. This unit sets both quantity and timing for every cylinder. Modern engines depend on that timing being accurate to well under a degree, so internal wear that would once have been tolerated now shows up as smoke, noise and failed emissions checks. Typical indicators are progressively harder starting, particularly when hot, reduced power, smoke under load, erratic idle, and fuel dilution in the sump — the last one should always be investigated immediately. Diagnose the supply side before blaming the pump. Restricted filters, a tired lift pump or air being drawn into the suction line will produce symptoms almost identical to internal pump wear, and are far cheaper to resolve. Installation notes: never rotate the pump by force to align it — bar the engine over instead. Prime before cranking, renew the drive seal, confirm supply pressure, and bleed the system properly. Dry running for even a few seconds is the most common cause of premature failure on an otherwise sound pump. Rebuilt rather than refurbished: full teardown and measurement, worn components replaced instead of cleaned and reused, sealing surfaces restored to specification, then bench calibration and testing. The record is what separates this from a used part — we can provide the test sheet for your order. Covered by a 12-month warranty.
