Spray pattern is set here. Hole geometry, needle lift and seat condition determine droplet size and penetration, and therefore how completely the charge burns. A seat that no longer seals will weep, producing carbon, poor starting and smoke even when the rest of the injector tests acceptably.
Watch for smoke on start-up, a rough idle that does not settle, wet or coked deposits around the tip, and consumption rising without any change in how the machine is worked.
Before ordering, check whether the fault really originates here. Poor spray often starts upstream — supply pressure, contamination, or a high-pressure pump no longer delivering — and replacing only the nozzle leaves the cause in place.
Fit new sealing washers every time, clean the seat without scoring it, and torque to the manufacturer’s figure. If the engine management stores injector codes, they need to be programmed once you are done.
How we build it: the unit is fully disassembled, cleaned and measured, not simply resealed. Wear items — seals, springs, and where clearance is out of specification the plunger and barrel or nozzle assemblies — are replaced rather than reused. Sealing faces and bores are re-machined back to original clearances, then the unit is calibrated and run on a bench with delivery, return flow, opening pressure and leakage recorded. Anything outside specification does not ship. Test sheets for your specific units are available on request. Covered by a 12-month warranty.
